Archie, People say that your years at university are some of the best you’ll experience throughout your life, I can only agree but also add that I think it’s the people that you meet in this time that create such beautiful memories. Perhaps that’s why these memories create such unwavering emotion, when those who are gone leave you with the most valuable memories. Spending the time I did with you is something I’ll treasure, whilst teaming with ideas of crazy nights out, you were a dear friend with the steadiest advice and such a fierce loyalty to his friends. A loyalty I can only hope he knew I had for him too. When I say his adventures and nightly excursions are stuff of legend, they truly are just that. Whether it would be causing unworldly havoc in the Loughbrough students union, running over 15km for a swim in the sea, eloping with women well above his age in France or lending me a full set of clothes for a impromptu night in Nottingham; he really did make sure his best interests were with his friends. It is that which I miss the most, someone so similar to me but altogether so much more, so famous amongst his peers and friends for being a truly inspiring person. I know in my heart that he is at peace now, and as a friend it has been hard to except that he ever felt the way that he did. I hope that one day I can see him again, with that wry smile on his face and laugh together once again. All my love to you Archie. Your friend, Frankie
